Gameplay Engineer for BioShock Development
Cloud Chamber
Become a key player as a Gameplay Engineer at Cloud Chamber, crafting immersive gameplay in the BioShock franchise. Work in collaboration with artists and designers to realize creative ambitions. In this role, you will harness your experience with C/C++ programming and 3D Math to design and implement gameplay features. Utilizing Unreal Engine 5, you’ll help create groundbreaking player experiences while addressing technical challenges. Your role will support a culture of collaboration as you work across teams to elevate gameplay standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design and art for creative execution
- Develop and coordinate gameplay features and systems
- Adapt technology using Unreal Engine 5 capabilities
- Identify risks and creatively solve technical problems
- Work closely with animation, sound, and engineering teams
- Minimum of 3 years related experience
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of OO design principles
- Familiarity with player-centric technology
- Current console experience required
