Job Description
The Sheet Metal Fabricator will play a key role in the fabrication of commercial HVAC components by performing cutting, assembly, welding, and forming tasks. This position requires precision and attention to detail to accurately interpret blueprints and safely operate machinery within a collaborative small team environment.
Responsibilities
- Cut, assemble, weld, and form sheet metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
- Handle materials and maintain organized work areas
- Perform measurement and inspection to ensure quality standards
- Collaborate with small team members to complete commercial HVAC projects
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Experience with machine operation
- Ability to measure and inspect fabricated parts accurately
- Knowledge of safety procedures in metal fabrication
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
- Attention to detail ensuring precision and quality
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication
