Team Lead (Furniture Warehouse)

Les tâches

• Coordinating a team of 8-10 associates;
• Welcoming and training new employees;
• Collaborating in physical work with the team;
• Operating a reach forklift to move products;
• Conducting daily team meetings in accordance with each day’s action plan;
• Planning operations and resource allocations for shipping and receiving;
• Relaying real-time information to the team to maximize production;
• Ensuring all products are placed on the trucks in a safe and efficient manner;
• Communicating frequently with the manager to optimize operations;
• Ensuring compliance with the standards for the merchandise;
• Maintaining a safe work environment and reporting and recording any incidences;
• Actively encouraging positive culture, teamwork, and collaboration;
• Carrying out other tasks as related to this position.

Exigences du poste

• Successful supervisory or leadership experience;
• Previous experience in a transportation or warehouse setting;
• Valid forklift license for reach truck;
• Knowledge of equipment handling procedures;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to exert some effort, including being active, standing for long periods of time, and maneuvering items up to 70 lbs.
