About Us
At Curryish Tavern, we believe that an extraordinary meal is only complete when paired with exceptional, heartfelt service. We offer an intimate, ingredient-driven dining experience centered around modern Indian cuisine and storytelling. We are looking for a dedicated front-of-house professional who wants to be part of a close, personal team where every guest interaction matters.
Role & Duties
Service Execution: Deliver a seamless, polished service sequence from greeting and seating to final farewell, ensuring every guest feels valued and well-cared for.
Menu & Beverage Guidance: Confidently guide guests through our evolving food and drink menus, offering tailored recommendations and wine pairings.
Wine & Beverage Service: Properly open, present, and pour wine, beer, and cocktails with meticulous attention to detail.
Floor Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure fluid timing, clear communication, and immaculate dining room standards.
Guest Relations: Anticipate guest needs, handle inquiries gracefully, and cultivate a warm, memorable atmosphere throughout the room.
Opening & Closing Duties: Maintain a clean, organized, and beautifully presented dining room before, during, and after service hours.

Service Excellence: Strong, professional floor experience with a comprehensive understanding of proper service sequences and fine-dining etiquette.
Wine & Beverage Knowledge: Solid foundational knowledge of wine, beverage pairings, and the confidence to converse about them comfortably with guests.
Genuine Hospitality: A natural instinct for welcoming people, making them feel at home, and delivering authentic, unpretentious hospitality.
Positive & Welcoming Attitude: Radiates warmth and positive energy, even under the pressure of a busy, high-energy service.
Coachability & Quick Learning: Takes direction well, adapts rapidly to menu changes, and is eager to continuously learn and grow.
Organized & Punctual: Respects time, arrives prepared, and maintains composure and order when managing multiple tables.
