Litigation Specialist: Senior Counsel Role

• Support litigation processes for property and casualty claims
• Draft all required litigation and settlement documentation
• Mentor junior legal staff and provide ongoing guidance
• Collaborate with Claims staff to develop legal strategies
• Update departments on relevant legal changes

Requirements:

• Law degree and admission to the Ontario bar
• 7+ years’ experience within the P&C insurance industry
• Strong litigation and advocacy background
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with trial and discovery proceedings is a plus
