Veterinarian - Mitchell Animal Hospital
MHMI
Associate Veterinarian – Mitchell Animal Hospital, Kitchener, ON
At Mitchell Animal Hospital, we're more than just a veterinary clinic, we are a team that genuinely enjoys working together. We laugh together, support one another through the busy days, celebrate the wins (big and small), and always have each other's backs. We know that the best medicine happens when people feel valued, respected, and happy coming to work.
We're looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. Whether you're just starting your career or you've been practicing for years, what matters most to us is finding someone who is kind, compassionate, and enjoys building relationships with both people and their pets.
We know every veterinarian is different, so we're happy to consider both full-time and part-time applicants. We also believe that having a life outside of work is important, and we do our best to make sure our team has the balance they deserve.
What You Will Find HereWhen you join Mitchell Animal Hospital, you'll find a team that wants you to succeed. You will have experienced colleagues to bounce ideas off and a culture where questions are encouraged and learning never stops.
We offer:
- A consistent schedule that allows you to plan your life outside of work
- Mentorship and support, no matter where you are in your career
- Continuing education support because we believe investing in our team is important
- Professional membership and licensing fees covered
- Paid professional liability insurance
- VIN membership
- Paid vacation and holiday time
- A generous staff discount
- RRSP participation options
We are looking for someone who enjoys practicing great medicine but also understands that veterinary medicine is about people just as much as it is about pets.
Someone who:
- Treats every patient as if they were their own.
- Takes the time to listen to clients and help them feel heard.
- Enjoys collaborating with teammates and celebrating each other's successes.
- Loves learning and is always looking to grow.
- Brings kindness, positivity, and a sense of humour to work.
Whether you're performing surgery, working through a challenging medical case, helping a nervous first-time puppy owner, or celebrating a senior pet who is doing well, you will have a team beside you that genuinely cares.
We Would Love to Meet YouIf you are looking for a place where you will be supported, appreciated, and encouraged to practice medicine in a way that feels rewarding, we would love to hear from you.
At Mitchell Animal Hospital, we are not just looking for another veterinarian, we are looking for someone who wants to become part of our team and our community. If that sounds like the kind of place you've been looking for, we would love to start the conversation.
