Housecleaner

Moose Jaw non profit is looking for a caring friendly person to provide practical in-home help to seniors in Moose Jaw.

Duties may include:

House cleaning
Light household tasks
Companionship and visiting
Occasional transportation or accompanying seniors to appointments or shopping

Many of the seniors we assist are older adults with limited income and little or no family support nearby. We are looking for someone who is dependable, respectful and genuinely interested in helping seniors remain safely in their own homes.

Requirements:

Clean Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
Valid Saskatchewan drivers licence
Reliable vehicle
Phone
Any other certificates are an asset such as Safe Food, Personal Care Worker, etc.
Wage to start minimum wage and part time hours to start may work to full time if employee wants more hours.  Or stay part time.

Hours will vary depending on the needs of seniors in the program.

Preference will be given to applicants who understand the challenges faced by low-income seniors and who are interested in practical, community-based work that helps older adults remain independent and living in their own homes.

Contract worker or employee and seniors are also welcome to apply.

Day time availability is required.  And commit to the same day each week (your choice).
