Associate Vice-Principal Advancement
Queen's University
Lead transformational philanthropy for Queen’s from a primarily remote arrangement near Kingston, Ontario, using advancement leadership and fundraising expertise.
As Associate Vice-Principal, you will guide major and leadership giving, gift planning, corporate and foundation relations, and prospect development. Reporting to the Vice Principal (Advancement), you will provide strategic guidance to university leaders, academics, and fundraising colleagues. You will also manage high-value prospects and advance Queen’s institutional fundraising priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams across major and leadership giving
- Direct gift planning and corporate relations
- Manage a portfolio of high-value prospects
- Shape plans that grow income across streams
- Build partnerships advancing Queen’s mission
Requirements:
- Success securing transformational philanthropic investments
- Deep knowledge of advancement best practices
- Track record advancing institutional fundraising priorities
- Experience navigating complex institutional environments
- Availability for domestic and international travel
Bring strategic guidance, advancement expertise, and philanthropic leadership to Queen’s fundraising ambitions while representing the University nationally and internationally.
