Java Software Developer at Syntax

Become a vital member of Syntax's development team as a Senior Software Developer specializing in Java in Montreal, QC. Your responsibility will be to build innovative software solutions that solve various challenges. At Syntax, we are seeking an experienced full-time Senior Software Developer with a strong passion for coding. You'll independently code solutions, participate in code reviews, and collaborate closely with designers and stakeholders. Your expertise in Java development and understanding of software tools will help strengthen our applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Code solutions for defined problems independently
- Test and lint code before merge requests
- Participate actively in code reviews
- Collaborate with team members on feature development
- Integrate with internal and external APIs
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering
- Minimum 7 years in professional development
- At least 5 years of Java experience
- Proficient in git for source control
- Legal work entitlement in Canada or U.S.
