Silicon Validation Engineer for AI Startup

Become a pivotal part of a fast-growing AI semiconductor startup as a Silicon Validation and Characterization Engineer. In this hybrid role, you'll validate chip functionalities and characterize new silicon designs. This hands-on position involves working in a lab with talented chip designers to ensure performance and functionality meet specifications in real hardware. You will partner closely with silicon teams through the critical phases of device characterization and testing to drive improvements and yield metrics. Key Responsibilities:

• Bring up new silicon in hands-on lab settings
• Validate mixed-signal behaviors and chip functionality
• Conduct detailed transistor-level characterization
• Measure performance, latency, and power metrics
• Troubleshoot and root-cause silicon issues

Requirements:

• Experience in ASIC or post-silicon validation
• Strong knowledge of mixed-signal and analog electronics
• Proficient with lab tools: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers
• Python or MATLAB skills for automation
• Familiarity with silicon bring-up or characterization work
