Nanny Wanted - Part Time(live Out) Nanny Needed For Son(4) And (6) Yr Old Daughter After School Until Bed. M F. Approx 25 30hr/Week.

Looking for: -Saint Catharines, Ontario (Secord Woods area) My family is looking for a part-time (afternoons to evenings) nanny from September- end of June (with some hours available next summer as well, if interested). We are looking for a full school-year commitment with the job possibly extending to next school year and so on if both parties are interested. We have two children (boy 4 and girl 6). My husband and I are both teachers and need the extra help during the hours the kids are not in school in order to be effective teachers/parents with extra-curricular commitments etc. Up until this point we have mostly had part-time help from a few awesome local sitters who go to Brock university/are locals but have had to kind of schedule on an as-needed and available basis and we realize that finding one person who can work with us consistently may just be easier (at least for during the week hours) to ensure for more consistency. Evening hours are approximately 3:30-8:3... give or take, once bedtime is done). There are also once-a week bi-weekly dates, currently Tuesdays, where we could use help from 2:30 onwards to assist with pick-up for our daughter at school to go to a nearby appointment. Someone with their own car to do pick up/drop off is required. Typical duties would require pick-up from schools, supervising playtime and dinner time (sometimes we prepare the meals for the kids, sometimes we would ask you to prepare something simple (KD, zoodles, etc. nothing too difficult). Tidy up the kiddos mess from dinner (supervise them doing their part for tidy-up-bring plates to the sink, etc) and any toys they have on the go. Help with bath time (not every night), and getting them into PJs, story time and off to bed. My husband and I will often be around and helping out with some of this stuff in the evenings so if/when we are with the kids, having your assistance with light house keeping (throwing in a load of laundry/helping tidy the kitchen/main living spaces, etc.) would also be helpful in terms of keeping the house in order and running smoothly. Both of my kids are recently diagnosed with Autism (L1/2). They are both fully verbal and very social but have some specific needs in terms of support with consistent structure and help with learning emotional regulation and social cues. They are already working on this in occupational therapy but something to be aware of for anyone potentially interested in the position.
