Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations within our warehouse environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical tasks, including heavy lifting. The Assistant will work closely with various departments to ensure efficient workflow and contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
- Assist in the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and order fulfillment.
- Perform heavy lifting and assist in building pallets for shipment.
- Utilize forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, including cranes, to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Support mechanical tasks as needed, leveraging mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and clamp trucks is essential; experience with cranes is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving processes.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
