Job Overview:

The Senior eCommerce Specialist is a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the company's online sales channels. This role demands a blend of technical know-how, analytical acumen, and marketing skills to enhance the online customer experience and drive sales growth. Special focus is placed on understanding the North American market, specifically the US and Canada. Success in this role looks like:

• Ability to analyze our traffic and understand who our customers are and be able to verbalize this in our eCommerce strategy planning
• Ability to manage our advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Reddit, and others
• Understanding Shopify and knowing how to use the back end, make edits, etc. (some Liquid coding would be helpful)

Key Responsibilities:

eCommerce Strategy and Monthly Planning :

• Develop and implement overarching eCommerce strategies, including monthly plans for ad campaigns and promotional activities.
• Study our eCommerce analytics and look for opportunities.
• Stay abreast of eCommerce trends and technologies for continuous improvement.

Website and CMS Management :

• Oversee the website's functionality and performance on platforms like Shopify, working together with our design team to ensure alignment with company standards.
• Regularly update and manage product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing for accuracy.

Email Marketing and Customer Engagement :

• Manage email newsletter marketing using tools like Klaviyo.
• Analyze customer behavior to improve engagement and retention strategies.

Digital Marketing and Advertising :

• Collaborate with marketing for online campaigns and promotional activities.
• Oversee and optimize Google Ads and Reddit advertising campaigns.

Community Engagement and Online Presence :

• Work with our outbound team to actively manage and oversee the company's presence in online communities such as Reddit and DashcamTalk.
• Engage with customers and represent the company in these forums.

Analytics and Reporting :

• Proficient in using Google Analytics 4 for monitoring and reporting on eCommerce performance.
• Utilize data to inform and adjust eCommerce strategies.

Social Media Analysis and Content Creation :

• Conduct social media analysis, particularly on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
• Generate creative ideas for social media content that aligns with eCommerce goals.

Team Leadership and Collaboration :

• Lead and mentor junior eCommerce team members.
• Ensure cross-functional collaboration for cohesive brand messaging and operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, with a strong understanding of the North American market.
• Proficiency in CMS platforms like Shopify and analytics tools like Google Analytics 4.
• Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads and Reddit.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
