Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry / Receiving Clerk to join our client's team.
Position Details
- Pay Rate: $22/hour
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Position: Order Entry / Receiving Clerk
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and process customer orders accurately into the company’s computer system.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect received goods for damage, shortages, and discrepancies.
- Update inventory records and maintain accurate receiving documentation.
- Prepare and maintain order confirmations, receiving reports, and related paperwork.
- Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, sales, and shipping departments.
- Report and help resolve order or shipment discrepancies.
- Respond to supplier and internal inquiries regarding orders and deliveries.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock reconciliation, and general administrative duties.
- Maintain organized records and follow company safety and quality procedures.
- 75% of the time will be working in office and 25% on the floor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in order entry, receiving, inventory control, or administrative support is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Experience working on a Spire program would be an asset
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an asset.
- Strong data-entry skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
