Senior 911 Network Architect
Rogers Communications, Inc.
Design Rogers emergency networks using Canadian 911 architecture and NG9-1-1 expertise while working onsite in Montreal, Quebec. Help connect Canadians and support critical services.As a Senior Network Designer, you will design, maintain, and evolve emergency and regulatory services across Rogers wireline and wireless networks. Your work spans emergency services, numbering technologies, SIP, VoIP, IP protocols, and Network Functions Virtualization. You will translate technical issues into business impacts while collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.Key Responsibilities:
Engineer and develop Rogers 911 network architectureMaintain emergency service access for Canadian organizationsSupport Emergency Services SBC/IBCF engineeringDevelop solutions for numbering obligations and nuisance call mitigationProvide on-call support during implementations and emergenciesRequirements:
Expert knowledge of Canadian 911 service architectureIn-depth knowledge of NENA i3 NG9-1-1 architectureFive to ten years of telecommunications experienceExperience with SIP, VoIP, and IP protocolsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and collaboration skillsApply your Canadian 911, NG9-1-1, and telecommunications expertise to Rogers emergency network architecture and services.
