Festival Line Cook

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our team making Slammie Sammies for the Summer Union 1 month festival (June 24th - July 21st). The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess strong skills in food preparation and kitchen operations. The festival is open 7 days per week, flexibility in schedule is important.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare ingredients for menu items following standard recipes- Sandwich making as per specified recipe- Ensure food safety standards are met throughout the cooking process- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service setting- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques- Familiarity with food safety regulations- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Strong teamwork and communication skills

Pay: $18.00-$22.89 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

• Cooking: 3 years (required)
