Urban Beekeeper for Alvéole

Alvéole is actively seeking local beekeepers to partner as Urban Beekeepers. This role offers the chance to maintain honey bee hives, conduct educational workshops, and engage with community members. You'll be responsible for hive health management, honey harvests, and using digital tools for efficient record-keeping throughout the beekeeping season. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and inspect hives on a three-week cycle
• Install hives and related equipment at client sites
• Conduct routine checks to ensure colony health
• Harvest honey directly from hives for delivery
• Facilitate educational workshops about bees and biodiversity

Requirements:

• Hands-on beekeeping experience during the season
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong knowledge of hive health management
• Comfortable using digital tools and mobile applications
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access
