Employment Details

Employment Type: Full time

Shift: Traditional clinic work week, Monday‑Friday; 36 hours of scheduled patient contact time

Schedule: Rotation to answer patient phone calls (no required hospital call)

Location: Ontario, OR

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient management including school and sports physicals, chronic disease management, and related exams and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice policies in the medical treatment facility.
  • Request timely consultation or referral to appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
  • Deliver quality care for acute concerns through the MyChart telehealth program.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Maintain and strengthen the Health Systems general internal program across all communities served, including obtaining Idaho medical licensure.

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Oregon.
  • Valid controlled substance registration with the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
  • Strong medical background and desire to provide care to a growing multispecialty medical group.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health record (EMR) desirable.
  • Ability to obtain Idaho medical licensure while maintaining involvement across communities served.
