Lead a national payroll department as a Senior Manager with our client, executing payroll for over 5,000 employees. This hybrid role requires strategic oversight and hands-on leadership. Our client seeks a strategic yet technically proficient Senior Manager to oversee a payroll team of 15. You will manage compliance and operational efficiency while being accountable for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls across Canada. Your expertise in stakeholder management and in-depth knowledge of union frameworks is crucial for this high-impact position. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a national payroll team of 15 personnel
  • Serve as liaison for internal executives and HR teams
  • Ensure compliance with union collective bargaining agreements
  • Oversee multi-provincial payroll regulatory adherence
  • Champion continuous improvement in JD Edwards system
Requirements:
  • PCP or CPM designation is mandatory
  • Experience in the construction or heavy union sectors
  • Mastery of unionized payroll structures and configurations
  • Proven leadership in mid-to-large payroll divisions
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards ERP systems preferred
