Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is an integral member of the Operations team responsible for coordinating daily dispatch activities to ensure while also safely and efficiently completing assigned deliveries.Responsibilities IncludePlanning, organizing and dispatching all deliveries to maximize efficiencies and optimize equipment utilizationProviding directions to drivers regarding routes and customer requirementsWorking with the Operations Manager and / or Lead Hands to troubleshoot repairs and truck maintenanceGenerating daily, weekly and monthly reporting as requiredCommunicating and interfacing with customers regarding delivery requirements, changes to schedules and any other issues regarding their deliveryAdhering to all company health and safety policies, standard operating procedures and established industry regulationsPerforming other office administration duties as requiredAbout YouThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveDispatch and logistics experience along with geographical knowledge of Timmins regionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organization, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environmentExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentKnowledge of TSSA, WHMIS & TDG requirements is considered an assetWorking knowledge of the fuel and propane delivery industries’ practices and processes considered an assetAZ/DZ license considered an assetWhat We OfferWe provide career growth and development through on-the-job training, professional courses, and peer learning in a friendly and inclusive work environment that allows you to thrive both personally and professionally.Pay: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour3 Weeks Paid VacationEmployer-matched Group RRSPEmployer-paid Health & Dental BenefitsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Healthcare & Lifestyle Spending AccountLife & Disability InsuranceBonus Incentives through Employee and Customer Referral ProgramsEmployee & Customer Referral ProgramsEmployee Discount & Perks Programs Are you ready to power your career and make a difference at McDougall Energy?
