Built in the family community of Westman Village, Mahogany, Chairman's Steakhouse is seeking GRILL COOK ready to take on the task of bringing it to life.
Those applying should be able to demonstrate their skill set, capabilities and drive to always strive for success. If you have a passion for continuous learning, Chairman's Steakhouse provides a great training program to help you succeed. This position will be in a busy location with high volume and demand. Be sure to include the size of the operations you have previously been employed with.
ABOUT THE JOB Position: Grill CookTerms of Employment: Part-time or Full-Time . Candidates must be flexible and have the ability to work variable shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook full course meals
- Make adjustments as necessary for patrons with allergies, intolerance or social diets
- Ensure quality of food is top notch and consistent
- Follow all recipe and presentation specifications
- Work with specialized cooking equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure that kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet cleaning standards
- Clean and maintain station with good safety and sanitation
- Open to learning and developing culinary skills
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of culinary experience
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate well with back of house and front of house staff
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, high volume restaurant is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
