We are a warm and welcoming family in North York looking for a loving, experienced, and dependable nanny to join our household and help care for our newborn baby. We are looking for someone to start mid to late December or in the new year. We are conveniently located near York Mills Station, making our home easily accessible by public transportation. As first-time parents, we are hoping to find someone who is not only highly experienced in newborn care but also genuinely loves working with children. Above all, we are looking for someone who wants to become a long-term part of our family. We would love to build a trusting, meaningful relationship with someone who can grow alongside our child and be with us for many years to come. What We're Looking For.. At least 10 years of childcare experience, with strong experience caring for newborns and infants. A warm, nurturing, patient, and attentive personality. Someone who is reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about childcare. Current infant CPR and First Aid certification (required). A background check (required). References from previous employers who can speak to your experience, reliability, and character. Someone who is comfortable around cats and willing to assist with pet care. Willingness to help with household responsibilities, including light cleaning, general tidying, laundry, and some cooking. Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with parents. Flexibility with scheduling would be a wonderful asset as we settle into parenthood and determine what works best for our family. Schedule & Long-Term Opportunity We are currently anticipating needing part-time assistance initially, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time position as our family's needs evolve. Since this is our first baby, we are still figuring out our ideal schedule and would greatly appreciate someone who can be understanding and flexible as we establish our routine. More importantly, we are not looking for a short-term arrangement. Our hope is to find someone who will become a familiar, loving, and trusted presence in our child's life for years to come.
