Manufacturing Engineer - New Products Focus

Become a key player at Viavi Solutions Canada as a Manufacturing Engineer focusing on New Product Introduction. Collaborate across functions to enhance product quality and manufacturability. In this New Grad role, you will support the development and launch of advanced optical and electronic technologies. You will work closely with R&D and other departments to minimize issues during the product cycling process. Effective data analysis and process validation will be integral to ensuring manufacturing excellence at Viavi. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of manufacturing processes and fixtures
- Conduct verification and validation of products to ensure quality
- Facilitate the transfer of NPI from R&D to production
- Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot issues
- Identify trends in production data for optimization
- Engineering degree from an accredited institution
- Strong foundations in manufacturing principles and process control
- CAD software proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks or Creo)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
