Drive innovative electrical designs to certification with Tangent as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Take your hands-on expertise in high-speed and mixed-signal design from concept to production. Tangent seeks a masterful Senior Electrical Engineer to guide the design and development of electrical hardware in regulated industries like medical devices and aerospace. You'll lead projects through architecture to production while using tools like Altium. Collaborate closely with mechanical and firmware teams to create integrated solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical hardware design from architecture to production
- Apply RF, high-speed, or mixed-signal design expertise
- Utilize Spice-based tools for design validation and refinement
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams for integrated solutions
- Mentor junior engineers to elevate design practices
- Proficiency in Altium with PCBA design depth
- Hands-on experience in relevant design disciplines
- Strong knowledge of Spice or similar simulation tools
- Eight or more years in electrical hardware design
- Registered P.Eng. or transferable status in Canada
