Analyst, Infrastructure & Real Assets (Toronto)

Position Overview

The Analyst at Step Stone Infrastructure & Real Assets will provide analytical, modeling, and transactional support to SIRA's local and international team, advising clients on investments in infrastructure and associated real asset sectors globally.

Essential Job Functions

• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; ability to create and/or modify sophisticated financial models, analyse financial statements and forecasts, prepare valuation bridges, run discounted cash‑flow analysis, comparable public company analysis, and create sensitivity/scenario analysis.
• Strong memo/presentation writing and preparation skills.
• Ability to conduct research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities and sectors, including primary funds, secondaries, co‑investments, and direct investments.
• Ability to construct and defend an argument around investment decisions, communicating both verbally and in written materials, including in Investment Committee meetings.
• Strong client interaction skills; ability to interact with clients and prepare advisory materials as required.
• Support senior staff on sourcing and managing the inflow of investment opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience at an investment bank, project finance firm, professional services firm, investment manager, limited partner, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or MBA (or higher) ideally in a related field such as business, finance, engineering, or economics.

Salary

Salary Range: $115,000 - $120,000. The salary is an estimate; actual pay may vary based on factors such as location, education, skill, and experience. The salary range does not include benefits or other forms of compensation.
