Strategic Procurement Contract Specialist

Drive strategic procurement and contract lifecycle management at BMC, combining RFx expertise, commercial negotiation, and Excel proficiency. This Montréal position offers hybrid work.The Specialist, Procurement and Contract Management leads end-to-end procurement for BMC’s GMP operations. Responsibilities span internal needs analysis, requests for quotations and proposals, bid recommendations, contract drafting, purchase orders, renewals, closeout, and archiving. The specialist improves tools and processes while maintaining policy and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:
Plan sourcing strategies for operational goods and servicesPrepare RFx documents and evaluate competitive bidsDraft contracts and purchase orders after negotiating termsTrack contract approvals, renewals, amendments, and obligationsImprove procurement processes, tools, and complianceRequirements:
Five or more years’ procurement, sourcing, or category management experienceBachelor’s degree in business administration or related disciplineExperience with negotiation and contractual term managementProficiency with Excel, ERP systems, and procurement toolsFrench communication and English interaction with external partnersUse strategic sourcing, RFx evaluation, contract administration, and process improvement skills to strengthen BMC procurement operations.
