Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement expertise in a new, innovative field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in deploying commodity strategies and ensuring project execution aligns with Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technical (QCDT) objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (suppliers, internal stakeholders, and project teams), support global supplier panel relationships, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of managing supplier relationships and commodity needs, but also contribute to project sourcing and coordination.
We’ll look to you for:
Supporting global supplier panel relationships and managing specific supplier partnerships
Monitoring daily supplier performance and addressing initial issues
Consolidating commodity inputs and actively contributing to strategy development
Representing commodities in project discussions and ensuring alignment with sourcing processes
Coordinating projects with all Metiers and preparing Requests for Quotation
Leading project negotiations and monitoring QCDT and legal project evolution
Preparing business awards and managing change requests to optimize costs
Collaborating with the Project Sourcing Manager and contributing to project management committees
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Degree in business, engineering, or a related field
2 to 5 years of experience in the industry
Good interpersonal skills, including leadership and communication
Fluency in French and English
Knowledge of a third language is an asset for working with our international partners, suppliers, and colleagues
Experience in supplier relationship management
Understanding of sourcing processes and strategies
Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:
Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
Work with new security standards for rail signalling
Collaborate with transverse teams and supportive colleagues
Contribute to innovative projects
Utilise our inclusive and flexible working environment
Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
Benefit from our investment in your development through award-winning learning opportunities
Progress towards roles such as Project Sourcing Manager or Commodity Manager
Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)
Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset to facilitate communication with our partners, suppliers, colleagues, and international clients. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
