The Position

Reporting to the Safety & Emergency Response Superintendent, the Training Advisor’s primary objective is to support the training needs of Kidd Operations’ departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to develop and deliver high-quality training materials to all personnel;
• Coordinate training activities for contractors and Kidd Concentrator personnel;
• Develop and implement delivery plans for training systems;
• Complete induction requirements and verify contractor competencies;
• Ensure training meets legislative requirements and time frames;
• Schedule and document training activities required to maintain company systems;
• Mentoring training officers and embedded trainers.

Skills And Qualifications

The ideal Candidate will have:

• A University degree or College diploma with 2-4 years’ experience in a training capacity;
• Certification in Train the Trainer would be considered an asset;
• Demonstrated technical writing experience including report writing and training development;
• Strong planning, organizational and facilitation skills;
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent computer skills including use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications;
• Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Pivot Tables, etc.

Compensation And Benefits

Competitive total compensation package including:

• Company contributions and matching into a Defined Contribution Pension Plan; and
• Annual compensation of CAD$80,000 to CAD$100,000.
