This role may require working non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.**Responsibilities*** Prospect and qualify leads based on company account stratification goals.* Research customer needs and develop tailored product and service solutions.* Evaluate market trends and recommend relevant products.* Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors.* Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, availability, and usage.* Provide product information and training to customer personnel.* Drive to customer accounts, conventions, and meetings.* Manage accounts receivable, working with the credit department.* Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order issues.* Participate in company functions, promotions, and customer events.* Attend sales and district meetings.* Engage in ongoing training.* Assist with training new employees.* Review and analyze sales reports and data.**Skills*** Ability to read, write, and speak English.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to build trust and customer loyalty.* Effective follow-up skills.* Sales ability and persuasiveness.* Strong work management and organizational skills.**Certifications****Education**Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree**Experience**2+ years of experience**Physical Demands**Requires driving to customer accounts.**Travel Requirements**25%-50%Sysco is committed to Employment Equity.
