Full-Time Patient Transfer Attendant - Sudbury

Voyago is hiring a Full Time Patient Transfer Attendants to fill an open position for our Sudbury, ON region

This posting is for an existing vacant position with Voyago's Patient Transfer Service. We are actively hiring to fill this current position.

Your Role

• You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence
• You can provide outstanding customer service
• You have excellent communication skills

Requirements

Your Profile

You must possess the following qualifications:

• You have a valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.

• You have a Valid BLS certificate or CPR Level HCP
• You possess a valid G class driving license
• You can remain calm in an emergency situation
• You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
• You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You can obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector
• You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) * must be valid within last 12 month.
