Role Summary

The Integration Engineer is responsible for designing developing securing and supporting integrations across enterprise applications cloud platforms mobile applications data platforms and GenAI solutions. The role will focus heavily on API development API Management (APIM) REST API integrations middleware platforms and enterprise integration patterns to ensure secure scalable and reliable connectivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

API Design & Development

Design develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services.

Define API contracts specifications and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).

Develop reusable APIs and microservices to support enterprise applications.

Implement API versioning throttling monitoring and lifecycle management.

API Management (APIM)

Configure and manage Azure API Management (APIM).

Publish secure monitor and govern enterprise APIs.

Implement API policies for authentication authorization rate limiting logging and transformation.

Collaborate with application teams to onboard APIs to APIM.

Enterprise Integration

Design and implement system-to-system integrations using APIs middleware messaging and event-driven architectures.

Integrate cloud on-premises mobile SaaS and GenAI platforms.

Develop orchestration workflows and integration services.

Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.

Middleware & Integration Platforms

Develop integrations using platforms such as:

Azure Functions/Durable Functions

Support real-time batch and event-driven integrations.

Security & Governance

Implement:

OAuth 2.0

OpenID Connect (OIDC)

JWT Authentication

Certificate-based Authentication

API Security Best Practices

Ensure compliance with enterprise security governance and audit requirements.

8 years of enterprise integration experience.

Support Modernization Detailed Job Description: Design develop and maintain applications built on IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) to support core payments processing. Contribute to the development of payment flows supporting transaction processing. Build and support integrations between FTM and upstream/downstream systems using enterprise integration patterns. Participate in the design development testing deployment and production support. Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues in a complex regulated environment. Collaborate with architecture QA and operations teams to ensure platform stability scalability and performance. Support modernization initiatives and enhancements to existing payment hub capabilities. Produce clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
