Job Description
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal , Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. As a Metal Cutting Laborer , you will be responsible for cutting metal plates using an oxyfuel cutting system (torch).
What you’re responsible for:
- Ensuring equipment is in good working order before starting your day
- Using the torch to cut oversized metal parts according to department requirements
- Proceeding with dismantling while respecting the integrity of the metals in order to maximize their value
- Keeping the premises clean at all times
- Performing any other related tasks as requested
Qualifications
To join our team:
- You have experience working with metal cutting or using cutting tools (an asset).
- You have a good knowledge of metals (an asset)
- You are well aware of occupational health and safety (OHS) rules
- You are in good physical condition and have good manual skills
- You are independent, methodical, and proactive
- You are diligent, conscientious, and demonstrate good judgment in your work
- You are comfortable working outdoors 100% of the time , in a noisy and dusty environment with varying weather conditions (heat or cold
