Opportunity

Red River Co-op invites applications for the position of Gas Bar Manager to lead the team at our Gas Bar located at 1008 Keewatin Street, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are seeking a hands‑on individual who is committed to service and has the required leadership skills to lead their front‑line staff. Responsibilities

Ensure a healthy and safe work environment for our staff and members. Be a brand ambassador for the Co‑op. Apply industry leading standards in category management and merchandising. Lead the team to provide world‑class customer service. Communicate with our Environmental Supervisor to ensure compliance with all legal and environmental requirements. Achieve financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses and profits. Ensure standards of the Gas Bar are met, including customer service, cleanliness, inventory control, rotation, and ordering. Provide leadership and direction to employees in accordance with company policies, procedures, programs, and overall expectations. A full responsibility list will be provided to candidates selected for interviews. About You

Prior experience in managing a high‑paced retail business, preferable in a gas bar and/or car wash environment. Above average communication / interpersonal skills (both written and verbal). A full commitment to building effective teams. An aptitude for marketing, leadership, bookkeeping, maintaining image standards, human resources, and strong merchandising techniques. A firm, yet friendly and sociable personality. A natural affinity of welcoming our members to the site, while embracing an inclusive workplace for our employees. A strong understanding of computer applications, especially Microsoft Office. An ability to work well with others. Total Rewards
