We are seeking an experienced IT Network Specialist to join a global network engineering team supporting a mission-critical enterprise network across more than 100 locations worldwide.

This role will work across LAN, WAN, wireless, data centre, cloud, SD-WAN, Internet, and network security environments. You will help maintain reliable network services while contributing to network modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on networking experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, technology partners, vendors, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations & Support

• Support day-to-day operations of global LAN, WAN, wireless, Internet, cloud, and SD-WAN environments.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents and service disruptions.
• Work with vendors, service providers, and internal technology teams to resolve network issues.
• Drive incident and problem resolution while providing timely updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call support and operational escalation activities as required.

Network Engineering & Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve network reliability, performance, scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and enhancement of network solutions.
• Support infrastructure deployments, technology refreshes, site integrations, and network modernization projects.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Cloud & Internet Networking

• Support cloud networking components and architectures across public cloud environments.
• Work with Internet technologies and services including:
• • DNS
  • Load balancing, including AWS ELB/ALB or equivalent
  • IP networking and routing protocols
  • Application connectivity and performance optimization

Network Automation & Tooling

• Contribute to network automation initiatives.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, validation, and reporting.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices for network and cloud services.
• Maintain and improve network tools such as IPAM, monitoring, and network inventory platforms.

Agile Collaboration

• Work with application, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, story creation, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Provide technical expertise during cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and operations .
• Experience supporting LAN, WAN, wireless, Internet, cloud, and/or SD-WAN environments.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking and routing protocols .
• Experience troubleshooting complex network incidents.
• Experience with cloud networking, preferably AWS or another major public cloud platform .
• Knowledge of DNS, load balancing, and application connectivity.
• Experience with network monitoring, IPAM, network inventory, or similar operational tools.
• Experience with network automation, scripting, infrastructure-as-code, or CI/CD is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
