Join Swiss Re as the Regulatory Chief Compliance Officer for the Canada Branch based in Toronto. This hybrid role focuses on proactive compliance strategies in reinsurance.

As part of the Global Compliance team, you will provide essential regulatory guidance and risk control support while managing compliance for Life & Health and Property & Casualty reinsurance. This role is ideal for those with substantial experience—at least 7 years—in compliance or legal environments, with an emphasis on regulatory knowledge specific to the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities

• Support strategic compliance advisory for business units
• Conduct thorough Regulatory Risk Assessments and reporting
• Implement and monitor compliance testing activities
• Update and manage compliance regulatory tools
• Represent compliance interests in regulatory interactions

Requirements

• Degree in Business or related discipline
• At least 7 years' experience in compliance or audit
• Familiarity with Canadian compliance regulations
• Solid stakeholder engagement and presentation abilities
• Solid project management and analytical skills
