Senior Engineer - Hydropower Projects
BBA Consultants
Take charge at BBA as a Senior Hydropower Engineer, focusing on rehabilitation and optimization of power plants across Quebec. This role combines technical expertise with project leadership in complex environments.
As a Senior Engineer, you will lead engineering efforts on significant hydroelectric projects, ensuring the alignment of client needs and project goals. Your technical guidance and strategic oversight of multidisciplinary teams will be key to delivering successful project outcomes and enhancing existing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: - Define and manage project efforts and schedules - Train teams across all hydroelectric project phases - Lead technical discussions on electrical equipment - Supervise installation and commissioning activities - Engage with external partners for equipment integration
Requirements: - Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering - Minimum 12 years of relevant hydropower experience - History of leading complex engineering projects - Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills - Bilingual in English and French for effective collaboration
