Position Summary

We are looking for a passionate, people-focused Operations Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of technical professionals and third-party partners. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, productivity, safety, and business growth.

The ideal candidate is an experienced operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coaching and developing people, and understands how strong operational performance contributes to overall business and P&L success.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular monthly one-on-ones, twice-weekly ride-alongs, and monthly team meetings.
• Meet weekly with the direct manager to provide updates on business performance, opportunities, challenges, and action plans.
• Develop, forecast, and maintain staffing plans to maximize customer service and consistently meet service commitments.
• Measure, monitor, and drive achievement of key operational metrics, providing regular reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
• Lead and support the development of a growth strategy focused on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and future business growth.
• Drive operational excellence with third-party partners using the same coaching, accountability, and performance-management methodology.
• Conduct regular field audits focused on quality, safety, productivity, and operational performance.
• Establish goals and action plans and execute them effectively through observation, coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing follow-up.
• Partner closely with the Dispatch team to identify opportunities and drive greater efficiency across operations.
• Identify performance gaps and develop practical solutions that improve productivity, customer experience, and profitability.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of successful operational leadership experience against formalized corporate objectives
• Comprehensive understanding of P&L
• Demonstrated ability to extract the full potential of technical professionals through development and leadership
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Suite of products
• Strong verbal and written communication skillset
• Positive attitude
• Love for Coaching and people person
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
