We are seeking a Patio Supervisor for our pizza restaurant who will also serve and bartend, ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering exceptional hospitality
Job Summary
As a Patio Supervisor, you will oversee service flow, support staff, and ensure a seamless guest experience while actively working as a server. You will be responsible for maintaining service standards, leading by example, and assisting in the daily operations of the restaurant and bar
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Supervise and support front-of-house patio staff to maintain high service standards
- Oversee patio operations, ensuring smooth service in both the dining and bar areas
- Assist with staff training, scheduling, and conflict resolution as needed
Bartending & Serving
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable service to guests in the restaurant and bar
- Prepare and serve wine and other beverages with precision and efficiency
- Upsell food, wine, and offerings to enhance guest experiences and boost sales
- Support barback duties, ensuring bar stations are stocked and organized
Administrative & Inventory Management
- Assist with inventory tracking and ordering of bar and restaurant supplies
- Ensure cash handling, POS transactions, and end-of-day procedures are completed accurately
- Monitor and address guest feedback to enhance service quality
Multi-Position Support & Teamwork
- Rotate between tasting bars, retail shop, restaurant, and events as assigned & needed
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Assist with opening and closing duties
Qualifications & Requirements
Must-Have:
- Previous experience in restaurant supervision, serving, and bartending
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and guest engagement abilities
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs in a fast-paced environment
- Smart Serve certification (obtain before starting)
- Availability for the full season, including weekends, holidays and evenings
Nice to Have:
- Wine knowledge and experience in a winery or fine dining setting
- Experience with POS systems and restaurant scheduling software
- French Speaking
Salary: $20.00 - $33.00 per hour
