We're a loving family in North Vancouver, BC, looking for a nurturing nanny to care for our 7-month-old baby girl. This is a full-time, live-in position - though "live-in" here means a separate, fully furnished basement suite just a 10-minute walk from our home, giving you privacy and a clear separation between work and rest. This suite is provided complimentary as part of the position. My husband and I both work from home, so we're always nearby and very involved - we're looking for someone who wants to be hands-on with our daughter and open to us training alongside you and supporting you day to day, rather than someone who prefers to take over independently. Our ideal candidate has experience with infants, understands how to create a safe and stimulating environment for a young child, and holds a valid work permit allowing full-time work in Canada, however we understand that different circumstances may apply. We're looking for someone warm, trustworthy, patient, and genuinely passionate about childcare. Alongside caring for our daughter, we'd appreciate some help with light housekeeping.
