FinOps SME Cloud Cost Optimization Release Engineer - Recutify Inc.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for cloud cost tracking and optimization across multiple customer projects.
• Design, implement, and maintain release pipelines that integrate cost‑optimization changes into production environments.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to prioritize and schedule optimization initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Analyze cloud usage data, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations for AWS and Azure environments.
• Lead cross‑functional workshops to educate teams on FinOps best practices and cost‑aware development.

Requirements

• Proven experience in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and release management for large‑scale cloud deployments.
• Hands‑on expertise with AWS, Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret usage metrics and translate them into tangible cost‑reduction strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of driving initiatives across multiple teams.
• Experience with automation, scripting (Python, Bash), and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) is a plus.
