SPÉCIALISTE EN ACTIVITÉS CLINIQUES-SPECIALIST IN CLINICAL ACTIVITIES

Job Summary

Les employés actuels du Réseau de la santé et services sociaux éligibles peuvent bénéficier d'un congé sans solde pour œuvrer dans un établissement nordique pouvant aller jusqu'à 60 mois. L'affichage en anglais suivra l'affichage en français.

Current eligible employees of the Health and Social Services system can take advantage of an unpaid leave to work in a Nordic establishment for up to 60 months.

Responsibilities

• La supervision professionnelle et le soutien clinique à l’intervenant;
• La qualité de l’acte professionnel (pratiques d’intervention, PI-PSI, tenue de dossier, etc.);
• La mise en place de procédures et protocoles, dans le respect des normes de pratique, visant l’amélioration des services offerts aux usagers;
• Le soutien à l’uniformisation des pratiques et au maintien d’un continuum de services pour l’ensemble des services communautaires (accès aux services, soutien ICLSC, collaboration à la gestion des listes d’attente, etc.);
• Le soutien à l’enseignement. Elle travaille en complémentarité avec les gestionnaires des services communautaires pour améliorer, implanter, harmoniser et contrôler la pratique psychosociale. Elle participe à différents comités de travail. Elle effectue toutes autres tâches connexes.
• Professional supervision and support for psychosocial workers;
• The quality of the professional act (intervention practices, PI-PSI, record keeping, etc.);
• The development and implementation of protocols and procedures, in accordance with standards of practices, aimed to improve the services offered to the population;
• Support for standardizing practices and maintaining a continuum of services across all community services (service access, support for ICLSC, collaborating in waiting list management, etc.);
• Identify training needs and support access to continuing education. The clinical activities specialist works hand in hand with community services administrators in order to improve, implement, harmonize and better control the psychosocial practices. This person also participates in different working committees. He or she performs any other related tasks.

Qualifications

• Être membre en règle de son ordre professionnel;
• Posséder un minimum de 5 années d’expérience clinique dans les divers programmes CLSC;
• Expérience minimale d’une année (1) en supervision clinique dans le réseau de la santé;
• Expérience de travail minimale d’une année (1) en région éloignée;
• Bilinguisme anglais/français (parlé et écrit); la connaissance de l’Inuktitut serait un atout;
• Sens de l’organisation, leadership, autonomie, capacité d’analyse et de synthèse;
• Capacité d’établir et de maintenir des relations interpersonnelles positives;
• Disponibilité à voyager sur le territoire au besoin;
• Capacité à s’adapter à une réalité culturelle différente et à un environnement exigeant avec mandats multiples;
• Capacité d’utilisation des logiciels Word, Excel, et Powerpoint.
• Must be an active member of his Professional Order;
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in CLSC programs;
• Minimum experience of one (1) year in clinical supervision in the Health and Social Network;
• Minimum experience of one (1) year in a remote region or area;
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written); knowledge of the Inuktitut would be an asset;
• Leadership, autonomy, sense of organization;
• Good analysis and synthesis capacities;
• Being able to create and maintain positive interpersonal relationships;
• Must be ready to travel inside the territory, if needed;
• Capacity to adapt to a different culture and a demanding environment englobing multiple mandates;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

NOTE 3 : Toute personne recrutée au Québec à plus de 50 kilomètres de la localité où elle est appelée à exercer ses fonctions aura droit aux sorties annuelles et au logement fourni selon son statut. Logement à partager ou transit si requis. Les primes nordiques s'appliquent uniquement lorsque le port d'attache est dans un des villages nordiques, les montants de primes nordiques indiqués sont "sans dépendant".

Note 2 : Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement will be given priority when qualifications are equal.

Note 3: Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometres from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per status. Shared lodging or transit if necessary. Nordic premiums apply only when the home port is in one of the northern villages; the amounts of Nordic premiums indicated are "without dependents".
