CPKC Track and Structures Director

Join CPKC as the Track and Structures Director, responsible for maintaining safe railway infrastructure. Lead compliance and management of engineering services while ensuring efficient train operations. As a key leader in this role, you will ensure the safety and reliability of all track assets in line with corporate policies and engineering standards. Leveraging your extensive background in railway physical plant maintenance, you will develop strategic safety plans and coach your team for optimal performance outcomes. Your leadership will play a critical role in emergency response actions and ongoing infrastructure improvements throughout the regions served by CPKC. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Deliver on service and financial performance goals
• Develop annual safety plans and manage responses to service interruptions
• Foster cross-functional communication for effective operations
• Investigate accidents and report findings promptly

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree or significant railroad experience
• Minimum 10 years in industrial or construction roles
• Knowledgeable in financial statements and compliance standards
• Strong analytical skills for problem-solving
• Must have a valid driver’s license
