Shape nuclear power plant systems, structures, and components at AtkinsRéalis through design verification and detailed engineering deliverables. Travel may be required.This Senior Engineer position supports nuclear facilities across the full engineering lifecycle, from concept development through commissioning and closeout. Responsibilities include calculations, specifications, design evaluations, procurement support, and technical coordination. The successful candidate communicates clearly with clients, suppliers, project teams, and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
Lead system, structure, and component design activitiesPerform technical assessments, calculations, and design verificationSupport engineering changes through applicable control processesPrepare procurement documents and evaluate technical bidsSupport testing, installation, commissioning, and field activitiesRequirements:
Applicable engineering degree from an accredited universityCanadian Professional Engineer registration or eligibilityMinimum 15 years of relevant engineering experienceExperience delivering nuclear facility modifications through lifecycle stagesAbility to review complex deliverables and oversee verificationBring nuclear lifecycle experience, design verification skills, and technical judgment to AtkinsRéalis engineering services for power plants.
