Position: Security Guard - Concierge
Location: North York, ON
Payrate: $17.60 per hour
Status: Full-time
Shift: Sundays (12pm to 12am)
Mondays (12am to 8am)
Fridays (12am to 8am)
Saturdays (12am to 12pm)
Overview:
Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard - Concierge to oversee one of our residential sites in North York. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with excellent communication skills, willing to work night shifts, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have experience as in residential security, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Concierge Security experience.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Must have a valid Ontario Security License .
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
- First Aid and CPR
- Valid Driver's Licence is an asset
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunctions.
- Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
- Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
- Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
- Support property management with any additional tasks as required.
