Job Responsibility:
FG Deli Group Ltd. located in Langley BC, is the progressive leader in the manufacturing of premium, Quality, European meat products.
We are currently seeking a Distribution Employee who will play a crucial role in our Distribution department. The successful candidate will ensure orders are filled accurately, finished goods are received and shipped precisely, and inventory, storage, and replenishment tasks are completed promptly to meet customer and quality requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile equipment including counterbalance forklifts, narrow aisle forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Complete forklift training and obtain certification if not already certified.
- Receive and verify incoming finished goods shipments and associated paperwork, including non-conformance reports, to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
- Verify outgoing shipments according to delivery procedures, accurately recording shipment information (HACCP documentation, number/weight of pieces, lot numbers, etc.).
- Organize loading docks and bays, and load/unload trucks in an orderly and timely manner.
- Accurately store finished product pallets received from packaging and wrap pallets as necessary.
- Complete inventory control procedures and pick orders accurately when required.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety regulations and WHMIS requirements, and comply with HACCP and SQF standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- High attention to detail.
- Forklift Certification
- Ability to perform very physical tasks requiring frequent bending and twisting.
- Capability to lift up to 44 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work in a refrigerated environment (approximately 2° C).
- Willingness to work in a freezer environment (approximately -20° C).
