Elevate internal communications at Queen’s University as the Senior Director. Lead strategic initiatives, foster collaboration, and enhance the internal communications function across the university. As a key member of the central communications team, you will report to the AVP Integrated Communications while collaborating with the VP of University Relations. This senior leadership position is focused on developing an enterprise-wide internal communications strategy. You will engage with stakeholders, ensuring that faculty and staff remain connected to Queen’s mission and values. Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement an internal communications strategy
• Establish a cross-campus Internal Communications Working Group
• Collaborate with university leadership and HR on messaging
• Organize strategic communication plans for faculty and staff
• Promote a cohesive internal communications ecosystem Requirements:
• Proven leadership experience in communications
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in higher education communications Drive internal engagement and enhance Queen's University’s reputation through effective communication strategies.
