Lead Consultant - Oracle Fusion HCM - Payroll

Infosys is looking for an Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll Techno Functional Lead to implement and support Payroll modules for Canadian public sector clients. You'll need expert knowledge of Canadian payroll processes and proven experience with Oracle Global Payroll/Absence Cloud, guiding projects through the SDLC and translating complex solutions for diverse audiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience

Required Skills

  • Lead and execute the implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM, specifically focusing on Payroll modules and its upstream and downstream touchpoints such as Absence, OTL and GL for Canadian clients.
  • Demonstrate expert proficiency in all aspects of Canadian Payroll and Pension processes.
  • Apply hands‑on experience in Oracle Global Payroll particularly within the Canadian Public sector.
  • Conduct System Integration Testing, support User Acceptance testing and Payroll Parallel Reconciliation (PPR) and support hyper care.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of HCM technical tools, including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, and Payroll Batch Loader.
  • Effectively discuss complex technology solutions to diverse audiences, including technical, business, and management teams, and walkthrough of Business Process Specification documents, configuration workbooks, testing, change requests.
  • Lead customer discussions pertaining to integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Payroll, Absence, and other relevant modules.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge and experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Conference Room pilots (CRPs)/Playback sessions, training content preparation, and imparting training.
  • Must have a minimum of 12+ years of experience in implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM for Payroll modules for Canadian clients.
  • Proficient in all Canadian Payroll, Pension processes along with upstream and downstream touchpoints.
  • Hands‑on experience working on Oracle Global Payroll/Absence Cloud for Canadian Public sector clients.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams (technical, business and management teams).
  • Preparation of status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations, and maintaining a RAID log.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent planning skills for release planning and other delivery planning.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring team members; experience managing 5+ team members.
  • Experience with Lean / agile development methodologies.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be for Ontario: $96,620 to $109,129.
