Become a key player in drilling operations as a Solids Control Technician. Manage equipment, perform crucial analyses, and uphold safety standards at various project sites across Canada. This role involves working closely with a team to enhance drilling operations. Under the guidance of Field Leaders, you will receive comprehensive training on solids control systems and machinery while operating on a rotational schedule.
Key duties include conducting fluid analysis, rigging equipment, and attending site safety meetings.
Key Responsibilities Operate and rig up solids control technology
Analyze drilling fluids for optimal performance
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintenance
Participate actively in safety training sessions
Assist with project‑related tasks across multiple sites
Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required
Preferred experience in solids control or related fields
Knowledge of mechanical systems and electronics
Previous heavy machinery operation experience preferred
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
