Full-Time Derivatives Analyst in Toronto

Join the Finance & Operations team as a Derivatives Analyst at RPIA in Toronto. Leverage your expertise in fixed income securities and derivative operations while collaborating with key internal teams.

In this full-time permanent role, you will report to the Director of Investment Operations, supporting derivative and collateral management functions. The ideal candidate will excel in managing relationships with counterparties while performing middle and back-office operations. Your analytical skills will be crucial for completing transaction reconciliations and addressing valuation discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities: • Support derivative and collateral management operations at RPIA • Manage relationships with ISDA counterparties and service providers • Perform middle- and back-office operations accurately • Complete daily cash and position reconciliations • Analyze MTM discrepancies and communicate with Portfolio Management team

Requirements: • Relevant post-secondary education and experience required • Advanced proficiency in Excel, VBA, and Python • Enrollment in CFA is recommended • 3–5 years’ experience in investment operations preferred • Knowledge of Bloomberg and derivatives required
