Remote Product Manager - (UX Ad Products)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and analytical Product Manager who can conceptualize and build innovative ad formats and ad products for our in-app products that drive business outcomes such as conversions, installs, engagement, and revenue growth .

The ideal candidate will have deep exposure to ad tech ecosystems (DSP, SSP, Ad Exchange) , a strong understanding of user experience , and the ability to translate business use cases into scalable ad products across our App Drawer SDK , In-App Ads SDK , and upcoming product lines. Candidates must have working experience at the mobile application side for a product base company, implementing ad-products within in-app/web environments.

This role requires a blend of product thinking, market understanding, technical awareness, and creativity.

What You'll Do

Ad Format & Product Innovation

• Ideate and conceptualize new ad formats tailored to business goals such as shopping conversions , app installs , retargeting , brand engagement , and awareness .


• Build ad products that improve user experience , ad relevance , and conversion performance .


• Identify opportunities for new formats on App Drawer SDK , In-App Ads SDK , and publisher inventory .


• Design innovative formats like:




• Dynamic shopping ads


• Performance-focused install ads


• Engagement-driven rich media


• Native and contextual units


• Interactive or carousel formats


• Personalized recommendation ads

Product Strategy & Execution

• Conduct market, competitor, and trend analysis to build differentiated ad products.


• Define product requirements, specifications, and success metrics for each ad format.


• Work closely with engineering, design, data science, and sales teams to bring new ad products from concept to launch.


• Partner with sales and business teams to understand customer goals and build formats aligned with advertiser needs.


• Prioritize roadmap based on impact, feasibility, and revenue potential.

User Experience & Performance Optimization

• Evaluate user flows to ensure ad formats enhance — not disrupt — app experience.


• Work closely with UX designers to create frictionless, high-performance ad interactions.


• Use data insights to optimize ad placements, format performance, conversion rates, CTR/CVR, and user engagement.


• Continuously iterate on live products using experimentation (A/B testing, multi-variate testing).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with DSP, SSP, and Ad Exchange teams to ensure new formats are supported end-to-end.


• Coordinate with sales and demand teams to gather feedback from advertisers and partners.


• Create training and documentation for internal teams and external partners.

What We're Looking For (Required)

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Ad Tech , in roles such as Product Manager, Ad Product Strategist, or Ad Innovation Lead.


• Strong understanding of ad formats across DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, OEM SDKs, and in-app environments .


• Demonstrated experience building performance-oriented ad products (shopping ads, app install ads, retargeting formats, etc.).


• Knowledge of user experience principles , UI/UX considerations, and app design constraints.


• Familiarity with RTB, OpenRTB guidelines, mobile SDK ads, rendering engines, and ad serving flows .


• Strong analytical mindset — able to derive insights from data and drive product decisions.


• Ability to communicate concepts clearly to engineering, design, data science, and sales teams.


• Experience creating detailed PRDs, wireframes, product flows, and go-to-market plans .

Ideal & Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in OEM-based ad platforms , lockscreen ads, app drawer ads, or in-app SDK monetization.


• Background in performance marketing , conversion optimization , or ML-driven ad personalization .


• Exposure to creative tech, rich media tools, and interactive ad systems.


• Understanding of privacy regulations and consent frameworks impacting ad design.

This role will be based at our Austin, TX office and follows a Hybrid schedule that will be aligned with our Return to Office guidelines. This role does not qualify for visa sponsorship.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role: the estimated pay range for this role, if based in Austin, TX, is $110,000 - $137,000.Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Austin, TX only. Compensation for candidates outside of Austin, TX will be based on the candidate’s specific work location. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above.

The salary range provided represents base compensation and does not include potential equity, which is available for qualifying positions.
